The combination of Yoga & Contortion utilizes best practices from each tradition to encourage safe development of flexibility and mobility. Yogatortion as a discipline is meant to develop strength, flexibility, mobility,and mindfulness for a holistic approach to our health and increase longevity.

Serpents are widely symbolized within many cultures of the world , so much so that there is a great duality of interpretation. Some people are horribly afraid of serpents. They believe they represent evil, treachery, and danger. However, who doesn't love a bit of danger?
For others, serpents represent medicine, fertility , transformation, and even power.
Inside this vast spectrum of meaning, serpents are endlessly mysterious and fascinating.
Jordan Remar, the Flexible Serpent, is on a deep dive of expression of this divine creature. She utilizes her natural connection to these beings to create enticing, scintillating serpentine movements. Whether she is slithering across the stage, or twisting through the air, Jordan embodies a dimension of the serpent archetype in every performance.

Jordan Remar is a performance artist specializing in acts of contortion, fire dancing, and aerial arts. Jordan captivates audiences of all ages with her profound flexibility and other-worldly movements. Jordan is a perfect fit for featured , ambient, or interactive performance for any event and is insured with Specialty Insurance Agency.

Jordan has performed for a wide spectrum of audiences as a featured performer at music festivals, corporate events, private parties, charity fundraisers, and fashion shows. She has also toured internationally with violinist and music producer , Govinda , as a belly dancer and contortionist.

Jordan has been certified by her coach, Mongolian Contortionist Otgo Waller, Flexible Body Art LLC contortion program. Jordan is able to coach students of all ages. Mongolian Contortion can be a beneficial practice for increasing flexibility & mobility for all bodies. Jordan loves to travel and often teaches internationally at circus retreats.
